Quality Assurance With Unique Testing Methods
Chemical Analysis
We use a device called the Spectro Maxx to analyze different metals like iron, nickel, and copper. This machine checks the quality of the metal while it's being melted and also tests the scrap metal before we use it. We keep samples for a certain time.
Tensile Testing
We test how much a material can stretch before it breaks using a computerized machine called UTM, which can handle up to 200KN force. An electronic device called an extensometer helps measure this stretch.
Microstructure Analysis
This includes tests like the dye penetration test and magnetic particle inspection to find surface and near-surface defects. We also use CMM Inspection to check if parts are made with precise dimensions.
Impact Testing
We use an impact tester that can apply up to 300 Joules of energy to see how well materials can handle sudden forces.
Hardness Testing
To measure how hard materials are, we use a Rockwell cum Brinell hardness tester. It applies a major load of 250 kg and a minor load of 187.5 kg to the material.
Radiography (X-Ray)
We use X-rays to look inside materials to check for internal defects without damaging them.
